Baked Tofu


Ingredients:

2 lbs firm Tofu1 cu. w.w. flour
1/4 cu. nut yeast1/4 cu. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic1 TBL parsley
1 tsp cumin2 TBL cornmeal
2TBL olive oil

Mix the dry ingredients into large bowl, and soy sauce in another bowl. Slice the tofu in 1/4" slices. Place oven setting at 350 degrees. Oil baking pan and coat top with cornmeal (important for slices not to stick).Using the two hand approach, one wet and one dry, dip the tofu slices into the soy sauce with wet hand, and into dry mixture, with dry hand turn tofu slices into mixture until well coated, and then onto baking sheets. Bake for 1/2 hour on one side, turn over and bake other side another 1/2 hour.

Enjoy baked tofu with favorate sauce, in stirfries, sandwiches, and snacks. Will keep a week in the fridge so it is always available.
